Final Farewell

WHATS UP GOMERS! Its crazy to think this is my last blog post until...next year ;) This has been an amazing journey and I am so glad I could take you guys along it with me. 

I Gianna Gomez am proud to say I have finally finished by Creative Critical Reflection. To the right there are some screen shots of my CCR script. In order to be more organized I decided to write a script of every specific word I was going to say, I followed my outline that I posted in my blog called CCR ing. After I wrote the script which was at 2 in the morning... The next day I had a rehearsal to go to so I decided to film when I got home at 4 that evening. 

Once I filmed my CCR I went through each video and "hearted" the ones I liked then proceeded to airdrop them to my computer. 

The editing part of this project has been crazy but very successful. I used iMovie for most of this project and DeVinchi for some of the shots. I learned how I could apply the things I learned in class with shots and  angles, as well as how the text effects the whole vibe of the film.

CCR ing

Hi Gomer's I wrote this as I was working at Lucilles American Cafe, it wasnt that busy so in my spare time I wrote my CCR script layout. Basically what im going to talk about and when..now! I can move on and write each...specific...word....I have to say.....

WELCOME TO MY CREATIVE CRITICAL REFLECTION 

Intro. music 

My film is a coming of age thriller that follows the story of a teen boy who is torn between both his musical side and sports side. As you can see the word TORN is used in that sentence which is the title of my film 

The conflict he has with withstanding his popularity keeping up with the norm and being good at lacrosse however is conflicted with his own love for music which helps him escape from everything he has going on.

i was able to get each shot i needed with just saying so (because he’s also my brother and i can boss him around😝)

I also got a little bit of help from Nicolas Mattis and Jaxson Hines for one of the school shots to make it seem more lively. so thank you to all of those people

HEY GOMERS 7 hours later, in my moms car going to chorus states!! yayy i’m blogging and planning out the next few days because they are gonna be…..tough…. The basic part is done it’s now finishing everything up and filming + editing my Creative Critical Reflection on top…of…all..that…

Gom’s To do List for this weekend - 

• Get one more shot of Alexander in the classroom 
• Finish editing 
• CCR 
• Submit 

Friday: Mostly Finish editing…start writing CCR

Saturday: Finish CCR, Finish editing.. record. 

Sunday: Rehearsal all day / edit CCR at night (try to)

Monday: Finish up everything and submit  Project due at Midnight. 

As well as studying for a history test and doing homework for other classes.  I’ll see you Gomer’s on our next two blogs that will sadly be our last :( Wish me luck!

The Long editing process..

Below are some screenshots of my film opening to give you a small sneak peak of the vibe being given..but sh🤫don’t tell anyone I showed you. 

Hello lovely Gomer’s I am pleased to say this process has been going swimmingly. We have gone through some bumps in the road however, are getting through them with ease! Currently I am..still…editing my film opening. Pretty much picking at absolutely everything I see wrong fixing cutting mistakes as well as lining the sound up with the shots. Above is a picture of my editing process! I decided to use iMovie for this project. That’s a bug contradiction with this project (Is iMovie better?!) the conversation I had with multiple friends. While others are using devinchi or premier I decided to stick with the basic iMovie and similar basic editing apps for color because I have used it all my life and am most familiar.
